Small Stream- big fish

So while I spent some time down South (way South) I came across a couple of like minded individuals on a trout stream. These guys a police officer and a law student from Christchurch, NZ. Long story short they were intrigued by their American counterparts and I was invited fishing with these two several times. Andrew Hearne and Jack Kos, these guys live and breath monster New Zealand trout.  They have adopted some new fly fishing styles that proved well in NZ and have become very successful in a place where success is not around every bend. Andrew and Jack put me on some really nice fish and have become great friends of mine.  They write for Riverworks New Zealand which is a fly fishing company that produces everything from rods and reels to waders and boots.  Their writings can be seen at http://riverworkslifestyle.com/  Andrew and Jack have taken some amazing photos and we will probably put some of those pictures up at some point.
