Fly fishing touted as lure for lethargic kids

I was surfing the web looking for news within the fishing world and came upon this article, it was very interesting and I think its a great thing to have in our schools. There are a few quotes below, Check it out

Teachers are being taught how to teach fly casting during an in service day.

"We're trying to get them off the computers and cell phones and go outside," says Paul Boyce, a volunteer with the National Fishing in Schools program.

"Fly fishing is kind of a lost art that they're not really teaching anymore," said Oak Ridge High School Athletic Director Mike Mullins, who is proficient in the skill. "It's great if we can get kids outside and active."
